What makes your home boarding environment different from a commercial kennel?
We offer a boutique, luxury home environment where your dog is treated exactly like a member of our family. Unlike chaotic commercial facilities, your pup receives continuous individualized attention, a structured daily routine, and a closely monitored pack circle.
What are your professional credentials?
Your dog's safety is backed by 14+ years of professional pet care experience. I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA), bringing expert medical-grade eyes to monitor your dog's physical health daily. I am also Pet CPR & First Aid Certified and individually Fear Free Daycare & Boarding Certified.
Please note: Our Fear Free certification means we use specialized behavioral techniques to aggressively minimize stress and help pups relax. However, because we are a small, family-owned, in-home business, dogs with severe, high-intensity separation anxiety who require constant 24/7 one-on-one supervision may not be a safe fit for our layout. We believe in complete honesty so that, together, we can make the absolute best, safest decision for your beloved pup's well-being!
Can I schedule an in-home tour of your facility before booking?
To maintain our award-winning standard of comfort, safety, and mental well-being for our canine guests, our private residence operates as a quiet sanctuary closed to outside foot traffic. We do not offer public, in-home tours. We have found that keeping our home private allows the dogs currently in our care to remain completely calm, relaxed, and stress-free.
🏥 HEALTH & VACCINE PROTOCOLS
What medical records do you require before a dog can stay?
To protect the health of every dog in our care, we enforce a strict verification process. Before any booking is confirmed, you must provide digital proof from your vet showing:
- Up-to-Date Vaccines: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella.
- Screenings: A negative fecal test (including Giardia and Coccidia) and a negative heartworm test completed within the last 12 months.
- Monthly Preventative: Active, continuous monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative care.
Your dog will never mingle with unvaccinated or unscreened pets.
🏡 DAILY ROUTINES & UPGRADES
Will my dog be crated during their stay?
For maximum safety, structural routine, and deep rest, all standard boarding package guests utilize responsible crating for peaceful nighttime sleeping and brief, essential moments when we step out for daily operational tasks.
Can my dog experience a completely crate-free stay?
Yes! We offer a highly exclusive Elite Kennel-Free Upgrade for additional $25 per day each pup (limited to only 2 eligible pets per stay). To qualify for this premium package, your dog must live a 100% free-roaming lifestyle at home, be flawlessly house-trained, have zero history of separation anxiety (no destructive chewing or pacing), and be fully trusted unsupervised.
Do you offer a trial run for nervous dogs?
For puppy parents or dogs experiencing separation anxiety, we offer an optional, complimentary 2-Hour Trial Drop-Off upon request once vet records are fully verified. This includes a brief outdoor introduction and a peaceful 2-hour indoor stay so we can provide honest, detailed feedback on how they acclimate to our environment.
Reservations & Policies
Do you reserve the right to refuse service?
Yes. To ensure the absolute safety and mental well-being of all canine guests, we reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at drop-off if a dog exhibits severe signs of unmanageable anxiety or aggression that were not disclosed prior to the reservation.
Because we are a boutique, family-owned home environment, honesty regarding your dog's behavioral history is vital. If a dog is deemed unsafe for our open layout or packs at drop-off, the reservation will be canceled to maintain a safe sanctuary for the other pets in our care.
PLEASE NOTE: If you already know your pup struggles with separation anxiety, there are proactive steps we can take together! We can happily arrange a focused outdoor Meet & Greet along with a complimentary 2-Hour Trial Run. Following the trial, I will guide you through the custom next steps to determine if our home is the right match for both parties—prioritizing your pup’s safety, happiness, and peace of mind above all else.
